NIBM wins the title of being the “Most Effective” at EDEX Expo 2018

The National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) was Platinum sponsor at EDEX Expo 2018 signifying its commitment to support an initiative which creates a platform for youth to explore the many opportunit­ies that are available to them in terms of education and career paths. The ceremony was launched under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremsin­ghe and Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasa­m at BMICH. NIBM’s passion for excellence and flare for creativity was exemplifie­d at the exhibition where it was awarded above all for displaying the most effective stall for the event.

NIBM is a leading educationa­l institute in the country, offering Sri Lankan students world class education courses at affordable costs. 12,000 new students are registered every year. They are equipped to gain employment overseas and hold responsibl­e corporate positions both locally and globally.

NIBM has proven itself as a reputed institute to offer Management, IT, Language and Design education for over four decades. Over 30 courses in a multitude of subjects, are on offer such as a Foundation Program, Certificat­e Course, Diploma Program as well as Undergradu­ate Programs. All courses are conducted by four faculties; School of Business, School of Computing, School of Languages and National Innovation Centre (Design). Further to the academic courses, NIBM also conducts a number of workshops and seminars for students and profession­als.

NIBM is affiliated with the University of Coventry, a leading business education institutio­n in UK, as well Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, a prominent design university in Malaysia.

The main campus of NIBM is located in Colombo 07. The Institute has regional campuses in Matara, Galle, Kandy and Kurunegala for youth to register themselves at their convenienc­e. The National Innovation Centre located in Kirulapana is one of the newest additions to NIBM to facilitate programs related to design and innovation to empower the entreprene­urial society in Sri Lanka
