Colombo’s First Online Fashion Exhibition by LIFT
L.I.F.T, a premier fashion campus in Colombo recognized by Tertiary & Vocational Education commission of Sri Lanka, has launched a one of its kind online fashion exhibition titled Fashion Nouveau, it will be an upscale, online fashion exhibition providing a concise mix of carefully curated collections ranging from haute couture to high streetfashion.Fashion Nouveau makes it possible to enjoy fashion and art in the comfort of your own home.
The project uses state-of-the-art technology to allow viewers to explore fashion and discover the stories behind the clothes we wear today. To kick- off the initiative, the online exhibition will feature selectedgarments, a diversity of footwear & accessories and much more designed by students of L.I.F.T &Mod’ArtInternational Sri Lanka. Along with a photography series of Mod’art International Paris.

Through these revelatory online experience, we hope viewers will gain a greater understanding of the craftsmanship and design expertise that transforms fashionable clothing into pieces of art by our students.
A few words about our campus, we bring world’s finest fashion education from the fashion capitol (Paris) to Colombo through Mod’ArtInternational for Sri Lankan and Asian students. This degree can be completed fully in Sri Lanka, awarding the identical qualifications and degree status offered to Mod’Art FashionDesign graduates in the France.We are also in a successful longterm partnership with the University of Northampton, UKwhich was recently awarded Gold by the government for the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), praising the quality of our student experience.
We make sure that our studentsget more than just a good degree; by creating opportunities for them to enter international competitions; go on industry study tours to fashion capitals (London, Paris and Milan); receive internships, work placements at well recognized companies, brands in locally and internationally. Our focus is to go beyond the academic structure, allowing students topush the boundaries of fashion design with us.
