Hemas Hospitals signs up Manipal company to strengthen skills of nursing staff

Hemas Hospitals has announced a partnershi­p with Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE) in India to strengthen and raise the standards and skills of their nursing staff.

An MoU for this purpose was signed by Dr. Lakith Peiris, Managing Director of Hemas Hospitals Group and A. P. Ramabhadra­n, Chief Executive Officer of Manipal Profession­al Learning (ProLearn), in the presence of several senior officials from both organizati­ons, the company said in a media release.

As per the understand­ing, Hemas Hospitals will send their nursing staff in batches to the Manipal Hospital in Bangalore for a 14- day hands- on, advanced training interventi­on. The programme will focus on educating nurses on different advanced specialtie­s including neuroscien­ces, orthopedic­s and In Vitro Fertilizat­ion (IVF) in line with Hemas Hospitals’ plans on building capability and expanding its clinical pro- grams to super- specialize­d areas in Gastroente­rology, neurology, urology, cosmetics, and subfertili­ty.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Lakith Peiris, Managing Director of Hemas Hospitals Group said: “Our partnershi­p with Manipal Global Education Services is a step in this direction where we upscale the standards of our nursing staff with new skills, knowledge and best in class global practices”.
