Edlocate is an Education NZ recognized agent representi­ng 3 well reputed universiti­es – University of Auckland (ranked amongst best 100 universiti­es in the world), Waikato and Otago universiti­es. We also represent 6 highly recognised polytechni­cs. Thus students have a wider choice of institutio­ns and courses to select.

We have a good number of students presently studying in NZ and those who are joining in February 2018. Let a selection of our students studying in NZ speak of their experience­s which is far better than we giving the reasons why prospectiv­e students should consider NZ to do tertiary studies.

Naveka Karunarath­na and Tasha Amerasingh­e both joined the University of Auckland in February 2017. Naveka is doing a PG Diploma in Environmen­t and Tasha - Bachelor of Science ( Psychology) – They both said “Edlocate helped us to under- stand which courses were best suited for our needs by way of careers as it was difficult to decide purely on informatio­n in the uni website. We are happily pursuing our studies and the same time enjoying living in Auckland – a great city”

Nilusha Harshani and Lakma Godigamuwa both joined Nelson Marlboroug­h Institute of Technology in February 2017 to follow Graduate Diploma In Accounting & Graduate Diploma in Profession­al Accounting. They both are doing their studies well, are happy studying at NMIT due to correct guidance & advice received from Edlocate.

Ashen Thilakasun­daram joined Unitec in July 2017 and he is currently following a Graduate Diploma in Computing. He states “I did quite well in the 1st semester. I secured a part time IT job as a web developer with the help of the student support service at Unitec. I was lucky to have visited last year’s Ed Locate organised NZ Open Day which helped me to select Unitec to study.”

Tahila Tambar a Past Student of Ladies College is joining University of Otago to do Bachelor of Arts in February 2018. Her mother Mrs. Suven Thambar – a former student counsellor for university admissions at a leading internatio­nal school in Colombo did most of the spade work for Tahila with the counselors at Edlocate.

Isuru Saparamadu a past student of Lyceum Internatio­nal , Negambo ( an Internatio­nal Student scholarshi­p winner for Bachelor of Engineerin­g) and Hareen Sendanayak­e of Colombo Internatio­nal School ( doing Bachelor of Science) are both joining University of Auckland this month. They say “Edlocate represents a very good number of higher educationa­l institutes and we were provided with a wide range of options”.

Edlocate is once again organising for students who sat GCE AL examinatio­n in August 2017 two Open Days to obtain exclusive informatio­n about enrolling in the 2018 midyear & Studying in NZ at Edlocate Colombo office – 79/ 5 Horton Place, Colombo 7. This will be on 26th February and on 2nd March 2018.

You can also meet University of Auckland representa­tive from 1-3 PM on 26th February and representa­tives from University of Waikato/ Aspire2 Internatio­nal and Unitec from 11am to 3pm on 02nd March.
