Whilst the Malaysian universities offer courses in all popular disciplines-

* Those interested in Medicine the option is there to choose from 3 well recognised universities – Monash/ IMU and MMMC. Monash Malaysia MBBS programme is accredited by the AMC ( Australian Medical Council). IMU has established a strong global network with over 28 Partner Medical Schools in Australia, UK, Ireland, Canada and USA. Suleka Jeyaratne a past student of Ladies College at Monash and Lumini Ameresekere formerly of Museus College now at IMU both doing Medicine made wise choices as they say.

* Those who are keen to obtain post study work experience in Australia or NZ, direct transfer options are available from Monash, Swinburne & Curtin in Malaysia to the main campuses in Australia. Students Uzair Kidwai a past student of British School, Colombo doing Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences at Monash University and Akram Hassan doing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Curtin Sarawak, are two such students with their options open to transfer to Australia.

*Taylors who has built a strong reputation in Hospitality & Tourism programmes and MIU which has many academic partnerships with well recognised overseas based universities including in Australia and NZ provide opportunities for students to study abroad through excellent credit transfer arrangements

* INTI offers programmes in collaboration with IBM using the IBMInnovation Centre for Education ( IBM- ICE) which is an academicindustry alliance between INTI and IBM offering students openings for technology leadership roles in IBM and associated companies. Akshith Suresh Past student of Wycherley at INTI International who is following Bachelor of Engineering is very excited about the openings he will have upon graduation.

All Malaysian universities we represent offer merit based scholarships to high achievers. Monash offers 3 categories of scholarships, INTI for May and August 2018 intakes, Taylors, Manipal International and Swinburne Sarawak all have several categories of scholarships. Melaka Manipal Medical College also offers their own scholarships which are enhanced to students applying through Edlocate. We facilitate students to obtain these.

Why Malaysia? The tuition fee and living costs are comparatively lower in Malaysia than in Australia, NZ, UK, USA or Canada, though standards are very high.

Why enrol in Malaysia through Edlocate? Unlike other Sri Lankan based university representatives, Edlocate has the official representation of 24 Australian universities, 3 NZ universities and 6 degree awarding NZ polytechnics. Therefore the transfer from Malaysia to Australia or NZ is easy if you enrol in a Malaysian university through Edlocate.

Due to high demand for spots for the interviews we advise prospective students and their parents to make prior appointments by calling Manesha on 0771770361 or Amavi on 0766269093.
