Avurudu festival of SPAIP International Montessori a colourful one

-

Avurudu festival of SPAIP International Montessori was successfully held in Panadura outdoor grounds on 10th March 2018. It is with great pleasure to announce that the event was colourful and full of joy, same as all past events of SPAIP. Also it reflected the responsibility of SPAIP towards maintaining and sustaining our traditions and conveying the values of them to our future generation. SPAIP always organizes her all activities and events meaningful and make sure all of them serve the purpose of the theme under which she was established in 2009. The theme is developing skills of our future generation with discipline, where most of the modern educators as the focus is mostly on the development of skills. But SPAIP always concerns about the development of the disciplines of a child in the view of donating a valuable future citizen to the motherland. Events of this nature would implant the core values of our traditions like respecting and caring of adults in a child’s mind, which will be carried forward for generations. Curriculum of SPAIP is unique as it covers all aspects of modern education with the concept of smart class rooms along with the A.M. I method suitable for our country. All the customs and rituals of Aluth awurudu festival were demonstrated with SPAIP students and the creations of the village house, temple and other rural equipment was spectacular.

The ultimate effort of the parents of play group, lower kindergarten and upper kindergarten students is highly appreciated which added the glamour in the event and was outstanding throughout. SPAIP always respects her knowledgeable parents in providing the necessary support in. SPAIP is looking forward to continue her journey under the helm of the directress, Mrs. Adeesha Jayalath, who is highly qualified and having a vast experience in primary and early childhood education with her talented staff of qualified teachers, who are always focused on their common goal.
