Nandika Buddhipala receives ACCA MENASA Regional Advocate of the Year Award
ACCA ( the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) has recognised Sri Lanka’sNandika Buddhipala FCCA as its regional Advocate of the Year for MENASA.
At an awards ceremony in Glasgow attended by the ACCA Council, Nandika was lauded by ACCA President Leo Lee FCCA for his extensive collaborative work building relationships between local bodies, universities, government and international schools to further the global accountancy profession in Sri Lanka.
Nilusha Ranasignhe, head of ACCA Sri Lanka, said:

ACCA launched the regional and global advocacy awards this year to recognise members who go above and beyond in expressing public support for the accountancy profession, embodying ACCA’s values, public value and ethical professionalism and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.
The Advocacy Awards are not about career achievement; but about the way that ACCA members give back to their communities, and help ACCA to develop the next generation of professional accountants. The Awards are judged by the global ACCA Council.

ACCA Sub- Saharan Africa Regional Advocate of the Year 2017: Hon. Felix Mutati MP FCCA from Zambia.
