He has functioned in Finance, Commerce, Logistical Management, Business Development, Project Management, HR Management and Strategic Planning in regional business operations spanning Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
At Mercury, Sahad also counts over 15 years lecturing experience for Financial Reporting subjects of ACCA and the University of London Degree programmes. He is also a registered mentor for the BSc. in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University, UK.
His vast corporate exposure and innovative leadership skills combined with his friendly and flexible approach towards grooming students to succeed at exams, has seen him produce many prize winners at Mercury.

ACCA at Mercury
ACCA is a Professional Qualification where students can enroll with O-Level or A-Level results and go on to become an ACCA affiliate within 2 and a half years. After commencing ACCA, students can pick up a Diploma in just 6 months and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance in one year where they are also opted directly into the finals of the BSc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting by the Oxford Brookes University. Thereafter, students can do the Professional (final) level which will take 12 months and become an ACCA affiliate whilst being opted into the MSc. in Professional Accountancy (Final stage) which is offered by University of London through Mercury.
Students will then be in a highly advantageous position being an ACCA Affiliate, BSc. (Hons.) holder from Oxford Brookes University and an MSc. Holder in Professional Accountancy from University of London all in just 2 and a half years. This opportunity is offered in Sri Lanka only at Mercury Institute.
