Edlocate is arranging a STUDY ABROAD DAY to showcase all the courses on offer at universities we represent in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia for students who sat the London A/L and O/L examination and about to get your results and for postgraduate students.
Edlocate Study Abroad Day will focus on genuine students and their parents to get preliminary information on;

Information on procedures involved from lodging applications for placements to obtaining visa through obtaining an unconditional offer, accepting offer and preliminary payments, Health Cover during studentship, obtaining the COE and visa requirements – especially to meet GTE criteria.
This preliminary information will enable especially the parents to decide on where your child should study – Australia/ New Zealand or Malaysia (fully in Malaysia or study partly in Malaysia and complete in Australia/ NZ/USA or UK.
You would also like to know what options are available on completion of studies especially in Australia or NZ. Students and parents especially will get information on post study work experience. The advantage of studying in Australia and NZ is the ability to get related work experience legally once you complete your studies. Work experience coupled with a good degree is the sure pathway to a successful career. Most graduates in other countries including those graduates in Sri Lanka are looking high and low for suitable positions which give them job satisfaction purely because they lack work experience that give confidence to employers regarding their suitability. The work experience especially in top international companies linked to most Australian and NZ universities stand in good stead for young graduates when entering into careers.

University of Melbourne consistently ranked no 1 and University of Sydney ranked no 3 in Australia .Engineering programs of Wollongong University is within the standards of Go8 Australia. Direct entry to universities requires 3 A/L passes with the required grades. However we offer students with less than required A/L results ability to enrol in degree programs through many pathway programs. High achieving students can also enrol in universities after O/L if their results are very good through Foundation programs to graduate in an accelerated manner.
Scholarships in Australia, NZ and Malaysia are offered purely on merit. If you are a high achiever and you have very good results we are in a position to promote you to secure a scholarship from a good number of scholarships on offer in all universities. In the year 2018 to date we have assisted 60 students to secure scholarships in universities we represent.
When you have all information in hand you can narrow your field of choices with regards to career/ state to study/ institution to study in/ the pathway you need to follow so that you could decide and lodge your application to universities that you are interested in studying. Therefore it is advisable to bring your educational certificates and passport copy when you participate for the Study Abroad Day.
Edlocate has been in operation from the year 2000. We have placed several thousands of students in universities we represent. Some have already completed their studies and the others are still studying. If any prospective student needs to contact any of our alumni students to get first hand information on living and studying in one of these countries, studying in a university or a particular course, we will be too glad to provide such opportunity.
