ANC PAINTBALL TOURNAMENT 2018, HUSTLER’S PAINTBALL HANWELLA

-

One of ANC Education’s primary goals has been to strengthen the bond between students as they form new partnerships and work with one another as part of a team; with that in mind, the Hospitality Club of ANC held their Annual Paintball Tournament once again this year. Not surprisingly, there was an increase in participation, with over sixty students experiencing the adrenaline-pumping action first hand. One of the key highlights of the event was the thrilling Capture- the- flag tournament, which was won by Team Haminions, led by Caine Rodrigo; speaking on his team’s victory, he said, ‘This is one of the many activities organized by ANC that offer practical application to the skills we learn in the classroom; it might just seem like a game but we had to make calculated decisions about taking risks and implementing various strategies in netting us the win. Overall, I felt I had to take a leadership position in guiding my team and it was definitely a very rewarding experience.’ Aruni Mahipala, Chief Operating Officer of ANC Education had this to say, when asked about the success of this event, ‘ANC Education stands at the forefront of academic excellence due to its commitment to venture out of the classroom and instill in its students the practical application necessary to acquire an edge over the competition’.
