If you sat for the 2018 London A/L exam – you have two choices to study in Australia / NZ or Malaysia. You can either wait for the main intake in Feb 2019 or consider exploring possibilities to enrol in a degree in 2018 itself. The latter will give you a definite advantage as you can graduate early and enter a career in the competitive world without further delay.
The 75+ universities and degree awarding tertiary institutes represented by Edlocate in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia are enrolling students for more and more courses from now till end of 2018 to give students opportunity not to waste more than 6 months to enrol in a course after London A/L. You need to explore this wonderful opportunity and meet up with counsellors at Edlocate offices in Colombo/ Kandy and Jaffna and discuss the openings to do so.
Since you are yet to receive the A/L results (expected in mid August) we have arranged to apply for placements with predicted results should you wish to make sure of your place in advance on a firm basis. If you wish to apply after results are released you could still do so. Edlocate staff is geared to handle enrolments swiftly and obtain your student visa well in time to enable commencement of course as scheduled. Most of these programs commence in Sept / Oct and November 2018.
Foreign Universities offer the possibility of applying with predicted results to secure early placements for students to get enrolled for their intended programs.
If you have completed your O/L ‘s and looking to continue your higher studies overseas , there are University Foundation programs available in many fields in most universities we represent. The Foundation courses enable focussed students with good academic abilities to bypass A/L and graduate in an accelerated manner. These Foundation Programs lead entry to the corresponding bachelor degree programs after 8 months to 1 year of studies.
There are pathway programs too available for students who do not have direct entry results for Bachelor degree courses before end 2018. Here again speak to our counsellors.
Students who are looking for postgraduate study options have the opportunity to follow Master of Business Administration / Masters in the fields of Communication / Engineering / Architecture and Built Environment/ Arts / Health & Science/ IT/ Laws / Master of Professional Accounting / Education in Universities and degree awarding higher educational institutes in all three destinations.
