ANC Education opens its Newest Branch Campus at Maya Avenue

ANC Education recently opened their newest Branch Campus Colombo at Maya Avenue on the 17th of May 2018. The new location was declared open by Dr. Jagath Alwis, Chairman of ANC Education and Dr. Punarjeeva Karunanayake, CEO/Executive Director of ANC Education, with several prominent members of the senior management team attending the ceremony as well.

Programmes with the option of obtaining a

Top-Up Degree from the University of West London (UWL). UWL is Ranked No. 58 in the UK Guardian 2018 and is the career university that maintains strong links with professional bodies and the corporate sector guaranteeing 97% employment rate within 3 months from graduation.

Currently the Maya Avenue new Branch Campus Colombo is offering the options of following the HND Programme in Business Studies, Computer Science, and Advanced Diploma in Psychology. Students can join right after O/Levels and A/ Levels and follow the pathway to an HND leading to a Top-Up BA (Hons) Business Studies degree and from there pathways to an MBA from the UWL. HND programmes in Mechanical Engineering, Hospitality Management and Civil Engineering are soon to commence at the ANC Maya Avenue new Branch campus Colombo.

The five-storied building features air- conditioned classrooms and comfortable seating with state of the art computers, projectors and other technological devices to ensure optimal learning. Students can also spend time in the common room that is equipped with a comprehensively stocked cafeteria and coffee dispenser; an ideal spot to work on those team-based assignments or just take a break from the studying.

It is a testament to ANC’s Brand Credibility that in just the first month of operations, more than 100 students had registered for the HND Programme. Students and parents alike look to ANC as a reliable provider of higher education, and this is no different for the HND Programme, with the renowned faculty members and structured curriculum, the ANC Branch Campus Colombo is truly geared to guide students to success.

Aligning with this vision, the students were treated to a Robotics Workshop and had the opportunity to gather thoughts from popular young entrepreneur, CEO of Surge Global, Bhanuka Harischandra when the Maya Avenue new branch campus held its ‘Leverage your Brand using Social Media’ Workshop, which will be an ongoing series and students can expect many more prominent personalities to share their knowledge with them.

Furthermore, a Freshers Evening is planned for all the new students on the 10th of August 2018, and it will be a good opportunity for the new students to socialize and for prospective students to gain insights on the experience of studying at the ANC New Branch Campus at Maya Avenue.
