CINEC Joins hands with knowledge first 2018. Education Exhibition as ‘Silver Partner’

Knowledge first education exhibition is organized by knowledge first Expo. for the ninth consecutiv­e time on 7th and 8th September 2018 at Kandy city center this year’s theme of the expo. is “Empowering Next Generation”

This is the first Exhibition Soon after A/ L 2018 Last year there were 5000 plus visitors and 52 Exhibitors. Participat­ed for the same event held in Kandy city center.

The birth of CINEC could be attributed to seeking quality education and profession­al training for internatio­nal employment for local seafarers. In order to narrow or eliminate this vacuum, CINEC was establishe­d in 1990. CINEC today has in her long voyage expanded this philosophy to all other diversifie­d discipline­s of higher educa- tion to offer globally recognized qualificat­ions. Supported by state of the art facilities and training aid, the students who enroll in this campus undergo training courses and secure ample internship and job opportunit­ies upon completion of their academic and practical education.

With branches in Nugegoda, Trincomale­e and Jaffna, CINEC boasts a student portfolio of over 20,000 registrati­ons annually, who follow a range of over 185 study and training programmes on offer, all leading to highly sought- after opportunit­ies of employment in the fields of Maritime, Engineerin­g, Informatio­n Technology, Logistics and Transporta­tion, Management, Aviation, Law, Science, English, Education, Hospitalit­y & Vocational Training.

In this endeavor CINEC offers degrees affiliated to leading universiti­es of UK, China, Australia, USA and courses recognized by Sri Lanka Ministry of Higher Education and University Grant Commission.

CINEC also manages Nat i o n a l M a r i t i m e Training Institutio­ns of The Republic of Fiji and Seych e l l e s e a r ning internatio­nal recognitio­n.

Wi t h this vision, CINEC has over a period of almost 3 decades produced a substantia­l number of highly qualified profession­als work ready with knowledge, skills & competence. These profession­als have the ability to cater to multiple vocations and industries earning and retaining valuable foreign exchange to Mother Lanka thus supporting national objective of sustainabl­e developmen­t.
