Success stories of Foreign Medical Graduates
Parents can gain some knowledge regarding the Foreign Medical Education through the ideas of students who have passed the ERPM exam in 2018 at the first attempt.
The Examination for Registration to Practice Medicine in Sri Lanka (ERPM) is the qualifying examination conducted by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) for foreign medical degree holders who want to practice medicine in Sri Lanka. The ERPM is conducted to ascertain whether medical graduates qualified at the overseas medical schools, possess appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes to take up hands-on clinical training and patient care as an intern medical officer under local conditions. Passing rate of this examination can be considered as a good indicator for selecting better university for medical education.
