BCAS Campus Facilitate Manipal International University MBA Program, in-collaboration with Murdoch University, Australia

-

Manipal International University ( MIU) has launched a premier MBA program in Malaysia that aims to introduce analytics in management training and provide the students with excl u s ive global exposure through a 1- week international field trip to partner universities in Australia, India, UAE, and more.

The program has been designed for both working professionals and full- time students and hence will be delivered in both parttime and full- time modes, using a blend of face- to- face classes and online classes. Online classes will be delivered through live telecast of classroom lectures, webinars, and discussions boards.

The key highlights of the MBA program are twofold. The program has an exclusive focus on business analytics, which will enable the students to make scientific, data- driven decisions at the workplace with the help of data analytics tools such as R and Excel. The program also includes a field trip to reputed international universities that will be com- pletely sponsored by MIU for all students.

MIU has also recently become a member of t he AMBA Development Network. AMBA, or Association of MBAs, has been the world’s leading authority and accreditation body for MBA education for over 50 years and with only about 250 accredited MBA programs around the world.

In expanding its network of partner universities, MIU signed an MoU with Murdoch University, Australia, in March 2018. Under this arrangement, students will travel to Murdoch University for 7- 10 days during which they will engage with international faculty and students, and also complete a capstone project that will enable them to develop a global business perspective. The initial number of students that will take up this program is approximately 80- 100 in the year.

Professor Dr. Lyn Karstadt, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Murdoch University, highlighted in her speech during the signing ceremony that the signing marks the first step in what is set to be active partnership. “Murdoch University is very excited to be dealing with another like- minded institution. Dr. Franco Gandolfi, Deputy Vice- Chancellor and Dean of the School of Management and Business at MIU, spoke about the importance of internationalizing the education experience. “I am delighted at the partnership between Murdoch and MIU. This MOU will serve as the beginning of a fru i t f u l re l ationship between two very well- established institutions of higher lear ning. This partnership exemplifies the very best of excellent global education all for the sake of our students.”
