As a first step in the collaboration between Murdoch University and MIU, the two leading universities organised a workshop to give students a taste of the cutting edge technology that they will be exposed to while studying at either of the two universities. The state- of-the-art virtual reality workshop was presented by Professor Hamid Laga and Professor Fairuz Shiratuddin of the School of Engineering and Information Technology, Murdoch University. This is the first technical collaboration since Manipal International University signed a memorandum of understanding with Murdoch University of Australia.
