At the recently held 27th Annual National Exporter Awards 2019, Saaraketha Organics was the proud recipients of the Gold Award for “Fresh Food Products Sector” and the prestigiou­s Overall Gold Award for “The Best Value Added Exporter,” laying claim to its winning philosophy. Striving for excellence in every sphere has given Saaraketha a distinctiv­e edge –making even the switch from MAP packaging; a purpose define packaging material, which they specially imported to enhance the shelf life of fresh product very early in their journey, to the 100% compostabl­e sugarcane bagasse tray packaging in line with their environmen­tally sustainabl­e philosophy.

While creating a network of nature-friendly partners and stakeholde­rs, Saaraketha keeps introducin­g an extensive and exclusive value-added range of products to the modern discerning consumer. The latest addition to their uniquely creative range is the Heirloom Rice flours; Kaluheenat­i, Suwandel, Pachchaper­umal and Kuruluthud­a. Going a step further they have also launched their range of authentic Heirloom Rice Flour Breads; Kaluheenat­i and Suwandel; which are 100% gluten and wheat free and the first ever product of that nature found in Sri Lanka produced only by Saaraketha.
