H One recognised again for excellence in IT solutions at NBQSA Awards 2019

-

H One, the IT arm of global a p p a r e l m a n u f a c t u r e r, Hirdaramani, proved its mettle yet again when it was recognised with two awards at the 21st edition of the annual National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA).

Awards for the competition organised by the BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT in Sri Lanka, are distributed across 16 categories, the primary objectives of which are to recognise outstanding achievements of individuals/ organisations in Sri Lanka that have contributed to the development of ICT, to create a window for international recognition of locally developed ICT products.

In a media release, the company said it secured - from the Industrial category- a Silver Award as well as a Bronze Award for its revolutionary, cloud-based Res.Q Smart Linea and Skill Matrix and Res. Q Machine Inventory solutions respectively.

Subsequent to these two awards, all the four modules of Res.Q have been recognised at NBSQA proving the quality and excellence in the product Suite.

Res.Q SM is a skill management tool designed specifically to cater to the unique skill management practices found in the apparel industry through a paperless digital application driven process.

As with the level of importance given to the production of quality apparel, the maintenance of the machinery with which they are created becomes a matter of high priority as well. H One’s Res. Q Machine Inventory is a transformative asset management solution which leverages the capabilities of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for the management, protection, maintenance, and inventory of machinery utilised in all processes of apparel production.

What differentiates H One’s offering from other competitor solutions is that Res.Q offers an entire suite of applications which addresses all unique pain points through one platform. Where most other competitor solutions cater to only one or two concerns - forcing manufacturers to assign multiple vendors to address each -, with Res.Q customers have control of their entire shop- floor processes through one platform without having the need to integrate multiple systems to gather for data collection or further analytics.

Commenting on the awards, H One CEO Samath Fernando said: “We hope that these awards serve as reaffirmation of our long-standing commitment and dedication to the betterment of the apparel industry - and businesses as a whole- through our innovative and effective cloud-based solutions.”

H One is currently operating its Res.Q solutions across the world’s key manufacturing destinations: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Myanmar, with expansion into Cambodia and Indonesia planned for the near future. As the many benefits reaped from the Res.Q solutions portfolio becomes not just apparent but increasingly vital, market entry into Africa and Central America is also an aspiration in the pipeline.
