Seylan Bank enters market with SD-WAN Networking System

Seylan Bank becomes the first organisati­on in the local banking industry to adopt SD- WAN ( Software Defined Wi d e A re a n e t wo rk ) Technology in partnershi­p with Citrix and V. S . Informatio­n Systems ( Pvt) Ltd., (VSIS), the bank said this week in a media release.

Commenting on this, Harsha Wa n i g a t u n g a , Chief Informatio­n Officer, Seylan Bank said: “We are delighted to work with VSIS to further amplify our transforma­tional journey into digitalisa­tion. As one of our valued partners over the years, VSIS has consistent­ly delivered and has continued to assist us with the best technical and business support. As the first bank to adopt SD- WAN technology, we aim to further strengthen our branch network security, availabili­ty and faster speeds that will facilitate greater customer convenienc­e and security. As the banking industry moves towards automation and digitalisa­tion, we place great priority towards innovation, security, enhancing customer services and defying the traditiona­l norms of banking”.
