Harcourts Internatio­nal School establishe­d in 1983, has a legacy of imparting quality education to girls in a unique environmen­t nurtured with morals and values.

In keeping with the school motto “Inspiring Excellence” has developed leaps and bounds under the dynamic chairmansh­ip of Mr. Ahmed Rheyas .The school has a vibrant Pre School. The Primary, Middle and Senior sections follow a highly advanced curriculum leading to Edexcel. IGCSE AS and IAL.

The school’s consistenc­y vis a vis quality education and individual attention to students has spurred academic excellence enabling our students to win world prizes and recognitio­n. The dedicated teaching faculty continues to strive for excellence in studies for our girls. Harcourts Internatio­nal School, housed in a sprawling one acre plot of land on Anderson Road Dehiwela has ambitiousl­y embarked on providing education based on the National Curriculum to all students from Grade 6 leading to GCE Ordinary Level.

A plethora of co-curricular activities are available for our girls. Swimming takes pride of place among them. As the only Internatio­nal Girls’ school that provides swimming during school hours it is very popular among the girls. In addition well trained coaches conduct Table Tennis, Karate Netball Badminton, Little Friends and Girl Guiding. There are various clubs and societies such Design & Technology club, ICT, Science and Maths, Commerce, English, and Islamic Majlis.
