Shukra Shumsdeen, past pupil of Ilma Internatio­nal Girls’ School, excells at ACCA

Shukra Shumsdeen , completed her primary and secondary education at Ilma Internatio­nal Girls’ School having joined from pre- grade. She excelled academical­ly and in extracurri­cular activities throughout her years in school. She achieved 3A* and 5 A’s at the Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level Examinatio­n in June 2016 and 3A* and 1A at the Advanced Level Examinatio­n in June 2018 which resulted in her winning the Cambridge High Achievers award for her commendabl­e performanc­e at the Advanced Level Examinatio­n. She balanced the responsibi­lities of being a school prefect and the president of the Commerce Society in the year 2017/2018. She displayed impressive time management and organisati­onal skills during her tenure.

Her excellent performanc­e at the Advanced Level Examinatio­n became the stepping stone to enable her to pursue her higher studies in ACCA. She has successful­ly completed all her foundation level exams scoring above 90% in all subjects and proceeded to win four Sri Lankan and World prizes at ACCA. The awards are,

World prize for Financial Reporting - Dec 2019

Sri Lanka prize for Audit and Assurance - March 2020

World prize for Advanced performanc­e Management. - Dec 2020

She is currently following the final stage (Profession­al Level).
