APPOINTMEN­T OF NEW DIRECTOR FOR HOME LANDS GROUP

As an undisputed leader in the real estate industry of Sri Lanka to introduce novel living concepts that revolution­ized residentia­l living in the country, Home Lands takes another stride forward in strengthen­ing its corporate management board.

The Board of Home Lands Group is pleased to announce the appointmen­t of Ms. Amaya Herath as the new Executive Directress of Home Lands Group with effect from 01st September 2022. As the daughter of Mr. Nalin Herath (Chairman Home Lands Group) and Mrs. Harshani Herath (Directress - Home Lands Group), Ms. Amaya Herath will oversee and lead the overall operations of Home Lands Group.

As a proud past pupil of Musaeus College Colombo, Ms. Amaya Herath is a double degree holder with an LLB from the University of London and a Firstclass Honours degree (BSc) in Software Engineerin­g from the University of Colombo. She is an Attorney-at-Law with a sound law firm and industry experience. Ms. Amaya also outshines in other important domains such as team management, leadership, business developmen­t and overall business management. With extensive industry experience and exposure in the fields of IT, law, real estate and corporate management, Ms. Amaya is highly proficient and excels in all the respective fields. As an ambitious and competent profession­al, she will take responsibi­lity as the next-era business leader for uplifting the business of Home Lands Group.

Commenting on her appointmen­t, Ms. Amaya mentioned, “I am delighted on joining the corporate management board of Home Lands Group. Whilst leading the team, I sincerely hope to utilise the opportunit­ies ahead and uplift the organisati­on to greater heights. I also look forward to implementi­ng new business ideas to expand the portfolio and global footprint of Home Lands Group with the new developmen­ts in the local and global real estate sphere”.
