PUBLIC SPEAKING FAST TRACKER Rainbow Institute’s highly sought - after Public Speaking and Presentation skills training has been scheduled for 2 days per week to enable busy professionals to complete the 30 hour module within 2 months, providing an opportunity to develop their skills and gain confidence in public speaking within a short duration. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

The training is designed to enable participants to understand the art and science of public speaking in a contextually relevant manner. Your skills in public speaking will also be enhanced by equipping you to: Increase self- confidence, become aware of personal speech habits, improve general knowledge and knowledge of current affairs, improve posture, voice, tone, diction and other mechanics of speech, develop skills in analyzing the audience with listening and feedback skills, present a variety of speeches

BUSINESS COMMUNICATION - ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON WRITING SKILLS

In order to equip professionals to function effectively in written communication in the work environment, Rainbow Institute has designed an intensive full day training- Business Communication Accelerator.

The full day workshop will take place on Wednesday 30 November at the Rainbow Institute Training center in Colombo 5. The workshop will provide participants a firm foundation in business writing and equip them to write effective business reports and e mails.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR YOUNG ADULTS

Rainbow Institute is also enrolling now for the next batch for the young adults communication training, which covers a duration of 30 hours. Sessions are conducted on Saturdays from 11 .00 am to 1.00 pm. This training equips participants to develop confidence in public speaking and also improve their level in writing for academic and professional purposes.

CORPORATE TRAIN ING

We also carry out training for groups of employees in organisations. This training is designed to meet specific needs of organizations and meet training objectives. We count some of Sri Lanka’s leading companies amongst our clientele.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

For those who opt for individual training on a one- to- one basis, a personal instructor will work closely with the student and conduct training according to times suited to client.

He is the former Spokesman of the Federation of University Teachers Associations (FUTA), and renowned as a powerful public speaker.

Dr Mendis is supported by dynamic trainers with high credentials and international exposure.
