Training activities of SLSI

SLSI offers a wide range of training programmes and seminars in quality management and standardization to the personnel in industry and service sectors with the objective of imparting the knowledge base required for delivering the output in consistent manner and services meeting national and international standard requirements.

More than hundred such educational and training programmes are conducted throughout the year. These programmes are designed in the form of scheduled programmes and workshops, in-house programmes conducted at client premises, distance learning and so on covering a wide spectrum of disciplines. SLSI has well qualified resource pool serving in these programmes, who have undergone overseas and local training.

Some of the key programmes offered at present are, y Diploma in Quality Management – Oneyear part time (three programmes per year) y Diploma in Food Quality Assurance One-year part time (One programme per year) y Certificate course in Quality Management - (Seven programmes per year) y Certificate course in Food Quality Management (One programme per year) y Lead Auditor programmes in Management Systems; ISO 9001(QMS), ISO 14001(EMS), HACCP/

ISO 22000 (FSMS), ISO 45000 (OHSMS), etc. y Short courses (Half day, one day and two day) are also conducted throughout the year on: Internal Quality Auditing as per ISO 19011, ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001(EMS), HACCP/ ISO 22000 (FSMS), ISO 45000 (OHSMS), GMP, Statistical Process Control, etc. Training prospectus includes all the scheduled training programmes for the year and is available on request.
