CA Sri Lanka to host member meeting of the Confederat­ion of Asian and Pacific Accountant­s in Colombo

The Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) is proud to announce that it will be hosting the member meeting of the Confederat­ion of Asian and Pacific Accountant­s (CAPA) in Colombo in October.

The meeting will be held on 05th and 06th October 2023, and will attract over 130 representa­tives from 32 accountanc­y organisati­ons in 23 jurisdicti­ons across the Asian and Pacific region. CAPA member countries include Australia,

New Zealand, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Fiji, India, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippine­s, Samoa, and Vietnam, representi­ng over 2 million accountant­s.

The CAPA member meeting is a prestigiou­s gathering of leading accountanc­y organisati­ons and accounting leaders in Asia and the Pacific. This event provides a platform for accounting bodies and members of the profession to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and discuss critical issues facing the profession in the region.

CA Sri Lanka is renowned for its commitment to profession­al excellence and ethical standards across the internatio­nal accounting arena. Past Presidents of CA Sri Lanka, Mr. Ranel T. Wijesinha and Mr. Sujeewa Mudalige have held the presidency of CAPA.
