30 sponsors including top conglomera­tes onboard to support CA Sri Lanka’s National Conference

The 44th National Conference, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), has received an overwhelmi­ng show of support from a diverse array of sponsors representi­ng multiple industries, including some of the country’s top conglomera­tes.

The conference, dubbed Sri Lanka’s biggest annual business summit, will be held from 03rd to 05th October 2023 at the Monarch Imperial and is expected to attract over 2,000 delegates, ranging from business leaders, C-Suite executives, top finance profession­als, and entreprene­urs.

The platinum sponsors of the conference are CIC Holdings PLC, Hayleys PLC, and John Keells Holdings, while Nations Trust Bank has come onboard as the exclusive banking partner.

Another 13 companies have extended their support for the mega event as gold sponsors. They are AIA Sri Lanka, Ceylinco Life Insurance Limited, Ceyline Group of Companies, DAMRO Group, David Pieris Group of Companies, Diesel & Motor Engineerin­g PLC, Enterprise Analytics (Pvt) Ltd, InsureMe Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd, Prathap Chartered Valuation & Consultanc­y (Pvt) Ltd, SANASA Life Insurance Company PLC,

Softlogic Life Insurance PLC, South Asia Gateway Terminals (Pvt) Ltd, and Sunshine Holdings PLC.

The five bronze sponsors are Acuity Knowledge Partners, Capital Alliance Group, C. W. Mackie PLC, Lanka IOC PLC, and Lanka Tiles PLC, while Hemas Hospitals (Pvt) Ltd and Nawaloka Medicare Pvt Ltd have extended their support for the conference as the healthcare partners.

The print media partners are the Daily FT, Daily Mirror, and Sunday Times, while the electronic media partners are Sirasa TV, TV 01, and Y FM.

President of CA Sri Lanka, Mr. Sanjaya Bandara, said that the overwhelmi­ng support of the 30 sponsors is a testament to the influentia­l standing the conference commands, especially among the dynamic corporate world.

“We are grateful for the overwhelmi­ng support we have received from our sponsors,” Mr. Bandara said, while adding that “their (sponsors) belief in the importance of our mission to foster knowledge and drive progress at the country, corporate, and community levels is inspiring. With their backing, we are confident that the National Conference on “Beyond the Perfect Storm: Seizing the Opportunit­y” will be a platform for groundbrea­king ideas and meaningful connection­s,” he added.

The three-day conference in October promises to deliver a rich programme featuring a keynote, technical sessions with inspiring and insightful presentati­ons, a thought-provoking fireside chat, and networking opportunit­ies for participan­ts.
