-

UCMAS, the renowned Abacus-based Brain Development Programme, is once again going to unite their students from over 80 countries around the world in one spotlight.

In December this year, the UCMAS International competition 2023 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

UCMAS Sri Lanka has been diligently preparing for this grand event, and they’re all set to shine on the global stage with 60 UCMAS students, a carefully selected team from all over Sri Lanka. These young talents can solve 200 sums in just 8 minutes. Yes, you heard that right – 8 minutes!

This International stage is not new to Sri Lanka. Many Sri Lankans have proven themselves on this stage over the years. However, under the guidance of the new CEO and National Franchisor for Sri Lanka, Mr. Vijay Sivashankar, these students are ready to set new records on this stage, as his vision is to provide the Best Education to the whole country - with a Difference.

A parent of one of the Sri Lankan participants, Mrs Dissanayake, expressed her confidence in her child’s abilities. “UCMAS has boosted my Child’s confidence and improved his Math skills to a whole new level. Thanks to UCMAS, he excels in School, at the National Level, and is now about to prove himself on the International stage. I’m very proud of my son.”

UCMAS is well established in Sri Lanka, with over 2500 Students excelling in this unique programme. Recently, they held a National Level Championship at BMICH, where nearly 2000 participants showcased their talents. Now, this golden opportunity has presented itself once again, giving our Students a chance to amaze the world.

As we eagerly anticipate their journey to Malaysia, we wish them all success, and we’re confident that they’ll make Sri Lanka proud and shine on the International stage.

Keep our flag flying high!
