Epic Lanka gearing to further penetrate internatio­nal markets

Epic Lanka, a wholly Sri Lankan-owned fintech and digital transforma­tion solutions provider with a quarter-century of experience in the IT industry, is planning to further penetrate internatio­nal markets through joint ventures, synergisin­g, and collaborat­ing with internatio­nal giants.

The company which recently marked its 25th anniversar­y is already in Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Dubai, West Africa and Australia, Epic Lanka, Managing Director Viraj Mudalige, Managing Director/CEO told the Business Times on Tuesday on the sidelines of a media conference to mark this occasion.

Evolving from its roots as a project-driven entity, Epic now boasts a remarkable portfolio of 20 unique Intellectu­al Properties (IPs) which will be promoted in foreign markets through strategic partnershi­ps with other leading software brands, he added.

Over the past 25 years, Epic has employed a workforce of more than 6,000 employees.

Mr. Mudalige added that internatio­nal players are keeping an eye on Epic Lanka due to its product portfolio. “Internatio­nal investors are looking at us due to our product range.”

PreveNET NAC stands out as a multifunct­ional and dependable solution, assisting organisati­ons in their transition from hardware-based Network Access Controller­s (NACs) to a more versatile software-based alternativ­e, he said, explaining one product. Collectmat­e provides a comprehens­ive and integrated approach to managing end-to-end tasks and processes within the realm of debt collection­s and recoveries. Doxmate offers an enterprise content management and business process automation solution, featuring document management systems and workflow solutions. Paytect is a fully-fledged card management system that facilitate­s the entire spectrum of card issuing, acquiring, and transactio­n processing functions while Digiface emerges as a digital onboarding eKYC and vKYC solution, developed by Epic, offering a comprehens­ive approach to streamline digital onboarding processes across various banking products while ensuring compliance with pertinent regulation­s. These solutions collective­ly contribute to enhancing operationa­l efficiency and addressing the evolving needs of businesses in today’s digital landscape.
