Neptune Recyclers, a leading player in the recyclable waste management industry in Sri Lanka, recently celebrated its 30th anniversary at its warehouse premises on November 14th. Operating as a subsidiary of Expack Corrugated Cartons PLC and a part of the esteemed Aberdeen Holdings Group, Neptune Recyclers remains committed to driving positive change and developing sustainable solutions for Sri Lanka.
Guided by the visionary leadership of Managing Director Mr. Abdullah Kassim and CEO Mr. Fazleen Majeed, the company has set industry standards and is dedicated to promoting environmental stewardship and a circular economy in the region.
As part of their brand repositioning efforts, Neptune Recyclers has adopted a new tagline - “Driving Sri Lanka’s Circular Economy.” This reflects their renewed focus on Sri Lanka’s circular economy and their commitment to leading the way in creating a more sustainable future for the country while generating shared value across all stakeholders in the circular economy.
Sri Lanka faces various sustainability challenges, particularly in terms of waste management and circular economy practices. Neptune Recyclers has been at the forefront of addressing these challenges and making a positive impact. To date, the company has recycled over 600,000 metric tons of waste and contributed $160 million towards environmental and human sustainability efforts in Sri Lanka.
