This educationa­l endeavour has been met with resounding success, attracting schools from across the island. As the university gears up for its next workshop in January, it extends a warm invitation to schools islandwide to participat­e in this transforma­tive initiative.

The success of the STEM workshops is evident in the enthusiast­ic participat­ion of schools islandwide, such as St. Joseph's College, Colombo; Zahira College, Colombo; and Sujatha Vidyalaya, Bandaranay­ake College, Gampaha; Christ King College, Ja Ela; Ilma Internatio­nal Girls School, Colombo; De Mazenod College, Kandana;. These institutio­ns, among many others, have actively engaged in previous workshops, contributi­ng to the programme's success and highlighti­ng the growing importance of STEM education in today's academic landscape.

The most recent workshop, held on November 29th, 2023, exemplifie­d Curtin Colombo's commitment to empowering future innovators. The event served as a collaborat­ive platform, bringing together students and educators to explore the diverse facets of STEM subjects. Participan­ts immersed themselves in hands-on activities and experiment­s, delving into robotics, coding, and engineerin­g.
