Tantalize 2023 - A Resounding Success

The echoes of applause still linger as Tantalize 2023, the 13th edition of the renowned inter-university talent show, unfolded on the stage of Nelum Pokuna Indoor Theatre on the 17th of November, 2023. Organized by the Student Activity Club of Asia Pacific Institute of Informatio­n Technology (APIIT) Sri Lanka, this year’s Tantalize showcased an extraordin­ary array of talent, leaving the audience in awe and marking it as a resounding success.

We congratula­te the winners who stole the show with their exceptiona­l talents. Anuda Thathsara from Imperial College, Colombo, clinched victory in Solo Singing, while Kinetic Street from NSBM Green University captivated the audience with their harmonious Group Singing. Suganya Nawarathne from the University of Colombo dazzled in Solo Dancing, and the synchroniz­ed moves of Team Agni from the University of Sri Jayawardan­a triumphed in Group Dancing. In the Band/Instrument­al category, Dreamers from CINEC Campus showcased instrument­al excellence. These champions not only define the pinnacle of talent but also contribute to the vibrant tapestry of Sri Lankan arts and culture, making Tantalize 2023 an unforgetta­ble celebratio­n of talent and creativity.

Adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening were the celebrated artists who performed at Tantalize 2023. The audience was treated to performanc­es by renowned names such as Bathiya and Santhush, Lahiru Perera, Dinesh Gamege, Kaizer Kaiz, and the mesmerizin­g musical stylings of Sarith and Surith to the beat of News.

The journey doesn’t end here; rather, it sets the stage for a bigger and better Tantalize in 2024. Stay tuned for another spectacula­r showcase of Sri Lankan talent, as we continue to celebrate creativity, passion, and the indomitabl­e spirit of youth.
