Candidates with three simple passes in Biological or Physical science streams at the G.C.E (Advanced Level) Examination or an equivalent qualification and a satisfactory English proficiency level are welcome to partake in this prestigious undergraduate program. Accommodating a maximum of 60 students at a time, the inaugural intake for the B.Sc. Hons in Chemistry Degree Programme at CINEC is scheduled for January. This limited capacity ensures a focused and personalized learning environment, allowing students to benefit from individualised attention and immersive educational experiences.

The B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry degree program spans four years, with the initial two years establishing a robust foundation in the principles of science and essential skills. The subsequent two years focus on a major in Chemistry, culminating in an engaging capstone research project that puts theoretical knowledge into practical application.

Integral to the programme is a mandatory practical/on-the-job training/industrial training component in the fourth year. This ensures a holistic learning experience, offering two distinct pathways for specialisation: an 8-credit Research Project or an 8-credit Industrial Training facilitated by CINEC’s dedicated placement services.
