A Night in Copacabana at Mount Lavinia Hotel
‘A Night in Copacabana’ will be the true theme for this year’s New Year celebrations at Mount Lavinia Hotel on 31st December, where Glamour meets Charm, at the world-famous Terrace starting from 7.30 PM onwards.
First dawn of 2024 will be welcomed in the rays of pink and shiny silvers underneath splashy fireworks at the Terrace of Mount Lavinia Hotel, where the guests meet the Venus in the sky and the ocean. Patrons will be escorted to the premises with the sensual dancing of show girls to fabricate a kindred notion of a Gala at The Palace of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro.
The popular band ‘Freeze’ of ‘Diasge Nagi’ fame is going to be the live music and dance moves composers of the night and in the meantime guests can dance the night away to the beats of DJ Delo and Jazz music.
A dazzling hour of midnight
Fireworks will be accompanied by the hotel to portray the beginning of the year 2024.
This years’ themed 31st Night is a solid yet an exclusive experience in Sri Lanka; born under the guidance of the MLH’s Chief Operating Officer Anura Dewapura.
This year-end celebration of the hotel is plotted to deliver the authentic nature of a Brazilian Carnivain Sri Lanka. From food and beverages to music to attire to decorations will be solely planned to make the guests feel the
Copacabana atmosphere while Pink and Silver colour combination will enhance the Hotel’s colonial charm, while absorbing fabulousness to the night till dawn.
This Brazilian Night will ensure the real Gala atmosphere with scrumptious delicacies, hyped up melodies and rhythmic moves to the choice of your booze. Guests are requested in an attire of their choice and ease while the hotel will provide the party favours (masquerades) to make the theme alive while mingling themselves with it. A welcome Cocktail hour in the courtyard is scheduled in the agenda from 7.30PM-8.30PM as to note the warmest greetings by the hotel, Gala Dinner and the Midnight Breakfast will be served at the Empire Ballroom while the seating arrangement and the live music performances will be conducted at the Terrace itself.
