Lyceum Panadura host annual Internatio­nal Schools’ U-15 Cricket Tournament

Lyceum Internatio­nal School, Panadura is gearing up to host the seventh edition of the annual InterInter­national Schools’ Under15 Cricket Tournament, scheduled to take place at the Lyceum School grounds, the Keion Grounds, in Kiriberiya, Panadura from January 16. A total of 15 Fifteen schools affiliated with The Internatio­nal Schools of Sri Lanka (TISSL) will participat­e in this year’s tournament.

“This tournament provides a unique opportunit­y to foster friendship and share the spirit of sportsmans­hip among participat­ing schools. We hope that all team members enjoy the tournament. It’s not just about cricket, it serves as a platform for young talents to come together, learn, and grow, both on and off the field. As the hosting school, Lyceum Panadura emphasises values such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience, contributi­ng to the holistic developmen­t of the participan­ts during the tournament. We hope that all team members enjoy the tournament, and irrespecti­ve of the outcome, we extend our heartfelt good wishes to all the teams,” Nethan Wijesinghe, the Principal of Lyceum Internatio­nal School, Panadura, expressing his excitement about the tournament, stated.

The participat­ing schools include Lyceum Internatio­nal School branches in Panadura, Wattala, Nugegoda, and Ratnapura, along with Asian Internatio­nal School, Royal Institute, Horizon College, Leeds Internatio­nal School Panadura, St. Nicholas Internatio­nal School, British School of Colombo, Colombo Internatio­nal School, Gateway College Kandy and Colombo, Stafford Internatio­nal School and Wycherley Internatio­nal School. The final match of the tournament will to take place on February 3 at the Keion Grounds in Panadura.
