Firms embrace digital transformation to redefine strategy

-

Adopting digitalisation in businesses was hurried by the recent pandemic, with firms looking to establish digital practices to avoid an abrupt halt in operations.

Now businesses have realised that digital transformation can redefine companies’ entire business strategy, experts say.

In this backdrop, Zoho Corporation, a leading global technology company founded in India, with a range of software including customer relationship management (CRM), marketing, accounting, meeting Scheduling, reporting tools, and integration with payment gateways, multi-currency support, and sales process automation capabilities, saw a 30 per cent revenue growth in the Sri Lankan market during last year.

Gibu Mathew, Vice President, and General Manager Asia Pacific Zoho Corporation, in Sri Lanka last week to host the company user conference, told journalists that this growth in the local market was led by strong growth in demand for Zoho Workplace, an integrated productivity suite, Zoho CRM, a customer management solution, as well as Zoho Recruit, a recruitment platform.

Zoho, serving 100 million users worldwide across its 55+ business applications, is the first bootstrapped SaaS company to reach the global milestone of 100 million users, which comes on the heels of the company reaching $1 billion in annual revenue last year.

Zoho's user conferences are a key opportunity to educate businesses in Sri Lanka on how software solutions will drive digital transformation, with the Zoho team on hand to provide enhanced support to customers in the business community in Sri Lanka and to spur the conversation for digital transformation in businesses and foster stronger relationships with valued clients and partners.

With Sia, Zoho's AI assistant, artificial intelligence and generative AI have become more accessible to all employees, providing a great benefit to businesses as technology can now be integrated into the daily work of employees in all roles, Mr. Matthew said.
