(NCHS) Nawaloka College of Higher Studies partnered with EDEX Expo 2024 as a Platinum partner

Nawaloka College of Higher Studies (NCHS) is a venture of Nawaloka Holdings, NCHS was declared open on the 21st of October 2014 by the Sri Lankan Minister of Higher Education and High Commission­er of Australia to Sri Lanka, at the request of the Nawaloka Holdings Chairman. Started with 30 students in 2014, the college has now completed 28 intakes. NCHS has around 1000 students studying at the campus. Located in Colombo and Kandy, NCHS aspires to play a central role in making Sri Lanka the internatio­nal education hub of Asia.

With the high demand for programmes offered by Nawaloka College of Higher Studies, NCHS has expanded to the Kandy region in September 2017 and provides students with the informatio­n and support required to commence a degree programme from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. NCHS in partnershi­p with global leaders in education, offers pathway programs in Business, IT, Engineerin­g (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatroni­cs etc., Health Sciences (Nursing, Exercise science, Psychology, Physiology) and many other areas for Sri Lankan students. NCHS has partnered with Swinburne University of

Technology Australia and Malaysia, Federation University Australia and 13 partnered Universiti­es in USA covering California, Washington, D.C., Alabama, Tennessee, Nebraska, and Kentucky.

The addition of partner universiti­es in the USA, UK, and Australia and Malaysia speaks volumes about NCHS's dedication to offering diverse and world-class educationa­l opportunit­ies to its students. Students of NCHS have been awarded scholarshi­ps for academic excellence at NCHS, and on transfer to the partner universiti­es. Outstandin­g global student awards, scholarshi­ps and recognitio­ns have also been awarded to NCHS alumni.

Sri Lanka’s largest education exhibition & job fair EDEX Expo 2024 will be held on the 9th,10th & 11th of February at the SLECC, Colombo & on the 17& 18th of February 2024 at the Kandy City Centre Kandy. This year 2024 EDEX expo will be the 20th year of EDEX since its inception.
