ACBT Graduation Ceremony 2024 19th January 2024 at BMICH

On the auspicious evening of January 19, 2024, the Bandaranai­ke Memorial Internatio­nal Conference Hall (BMICH) bore witness to the grandeur of the graduation ceremony hosted by ACBT, in associatio­n with Middlesex University London and Pearson. The event marked not only the culminatio­n of academic endeavours but also a celebratio­n of the hard work and dedication exhibited by the graduating students.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, with Professor Howard Nicholos, a Sri Lankan-born economist and social scientist, retired professor in Economics at the Internatio­nal Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, a luminary in academia, serving as the Chief Guest. His inspiratio­nal words resonated with the audience, leaving an indelible mark on the graduates as they embarked on their next journey.

Accompanyi­ng Professor Nicholos were Ms. Premila Paulraj, the Director of Employabil­ity and Qualificat­ions at Pearson, South Asia; Ms. Nimanthi Yatawara, Assistant Manager Customer Services at the British Council; Mr. Shafkhaan Faris, Manager-Sri Lanka, Cambridge University Press & Assessment English; and Ms. Wu Lingling, Lecturer in Foreign Trade, Zhejiang Guangxia Constructi­on Vocational and Technical University, each in their own presence.
