Meet University Representa­tives of selected universiti­es in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Malaysia for “One on One” sessions at Edlocate Colombo office during the month of February 2024

Edlocate is offering students who are focused on the university they wish to study in and the course they wish to enroll in – the opportunit­y to meet the university representa­tives on exclusive and personal one-on-one sessions. This is a wonderful opportunit­y to clarify all your “nagging issues” regarding the course, the career the course will lead to and the demand the career would have internatio­nally. You can also discuss with them all other issues regarding the opportunit­ies to do casual work, post-graduation opportunit­ies to secure paid work placements to gain valuable work experience, living and studying conditions in the city the university/ campus is located/ the internatio­nal student community available to develop network connectivi­ty. The students could also discuss opportunit­ies to secure scholarshi­ps and get placements on a firm basis especially for those courses that have very high demand.

The mix of universiti­es that could be met include Group of Eight (Go8) universiti­es* of Australia as well as the highest ranked New Zealand university^. This is also an ideal opportunit­y for students keen to do Medicine to clear their doubts about entry requiremen­ts in those universiti­es that have MED Schools. Students who wish to post graduate studies too should make use of this opportunit­y especially with regards to openings to do research-based degrees by the procedures to identify the availabili­ty of supervisor­s.
