The opening ceremony of the expo, was on the 7th of March, and was graced by the esteemed presence of Honorable Dr. Susil Premajayantha, the Minister of Education of Sri Lanka, who was the Chief Guest. The turn out for the event included over 800 participants, including school children, educators, and industry professionals, the event was a celebration of innovation and excellence in education.

A focal point of the expo was the NIBM start-up session, slated for the evening of the 7th of March. This session provided a platform for emerging entrepreneurs who have graduated from NIBM to showcase their innovative ventures and connect with industry experts and investors. It highlighted the institute’s role in nurturing entrepreneurial talent and fostering a culture of innovation and enterprise.

Throughout the expo, attendees had the opportunity to engage with interactive demonstrations and presentations that illustrate the practical applications of OBL. From AI and Data Science projects to fashion design showcases, the exhibits demonstrated the diverse talents and expertise cultivated at NIBM. Moreover, the Fashion Show on the 9th of March showcased the creativity and innovation of NIBM’s fashion design students, further exemplifying the institute’s commitment to excellence.
