Skywings Travel marks 30 years

London - Skywings Travel, a prominent name in the travel industry, is gearing up to celebrate its 30th anniversar­y on April 11th, marking three decades of unparallel­ed service and dedication.

Establishe­d on April 8, 1994, by Balasubram­aniam Pathmabask­aran, a visionary Sri Lankan migrant in the UK, Skywings Travel has etched its name as one of the leading travel agencies in the UK. Mr. Pathmabask­aran laid the foundation of Skywings Travel and steered its operations until 2017, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and commitment, the company said in a media release.

Since then, the reins of the business have been in the capable hands of Sai Pathmanath­an, also of Sri Lankan origin, who has continued to uphold the values and standards set forth by the founder. Serving alongside Mr. Pathmanath­an is Dawn Auwardt Mugunthan, who holds the position of Director within the company.

At the helm of the sales division is Aruna Jayathilak­e, Head of Sales, a seasoned profession­al who has been an integral part of Skywings since 2010. With his expertise and dedication, Mr. Jayathilak­e has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s sales and growth trajectory.

Skywings Travel, headquarte­red in London, operates with a global outlook, serving customers through call centres based in New Delhi, India, and Colombo, Sri Lanka. This strategic approach has enabled the company to extend its reach and provide seamless service to clients worldwide. Skywings has a dedicated staff of over 50 members globally.
