THE MSU PHD PROGRAMMES
Being highly competitive and designed to fill knowledge gaps through practical oriented and outcome-based education, the MSU PhD programme prides itself on its superior quality. The PhD programme is entirely research based, and the Doctorate will be awarded on the successful completion of a thesis by MSU Malaysia. Students will be examined by the assessment of the thesis and the research on what it is based as well as requires a viva voce.

The programme follows the University’s schedule, which includes a proposal defence presentation, thesis work, a work completion seminar, and VIVA’s final defence. PhD candidates are guided by a Malaysian supervisor designated by the university, as well as local advisors. MSU Malaysia monitors students’ progress monthly and administers all exams.
