Hollywood action comedy film ‘Fall Guy’ directed by David Leitch is now being screened at theatres in Colombo and outstation.

Based on the 1980s TV series about stunt performers, scripted by Drew Pearce, the film features Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Aaron TaylorJohn­son, Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu and Winston Duke in the stellar cast.

A down-and-out stuntman must find the missing star of his ex-girlfriend’s blockbuste­r film. After leaving the business one year earlier, battle-scarred stuntman Colt Seavers springs back into action when the star of a big studio movie suddenly disappears. As the mystery surroundin­g the missing actor deepens, Colt soon finds himself ensnared in a sinister plot that pushes him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.

Shooting began in October 2022 in Sydney, Australia, the locations included the Disney Studios Australia in Moore Park, Sydney. The film also features the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which was closed for several daytime hours in January 2023 for filming of certain scenes.

Premiered at SXSW in March, Universal Pictures released the film in the United States and worldwide including in Sri Lanka on May 3.

The film is now being screened at Colombo city centre, Liberty
