Assuria stops insurance coverage to Sozavo clients

Assuria Insurance Company recently sent a letter to the Association of Physicians in Suriname (VMS), announcing that it ended the contract with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing (Sozavo) on Monday. “This means that Sozavo insured persons (the so-called insolvents) who are in possession of a AZPAS card of Assuria with insurance policy number 420184 is no longer valid.” Sources told Times of Suriname that the VMS will reportedly convene to discuss the latest developments and to determine the next step.
