3 murders solved within 1 month

-

“The Capital Crimes Division has solved 3 murders within one month,” said Roberto Prade, head of the Capital Crimes Division, at a press conference on Thursday. Prade pointed out that the murder of a security guard was solved and that five men were arrested. Four of the suspects were arrested for the theft of 47 bags of cement from a container located next to a house that is still under construction. The security guard died after the men had hit him on the head several times. The murder took place along the Magentakanaalweg. “The suspects had initially planned on burglarizing the container but the security guard most likely caught them by surprise which is why they killed him,” said Prade. The Capital Crimes Division also solved the murder of a 77-year-old woman. Prade pointed out that the old woman was in a relationship with a man who was already in a relationship with another woman. When the man’s girlfriend found out about the relationship between the man and the old woman, she went to the senior citizen’s home while her boyfriend was busy fixing the roof. She reportedly killed the old woman by hitting her on the head with a crowbar. Several days after the murder, the man went back to the victim’s house to take several electrical appliances. He reportedly sold some of the electrical appliances. The police have reportedly recovered some of the stolen appliances. Prade also pointed out that the murder of a university student was also solved. The female student had left campus to meet somebody but was never seen or heard from again. Several days after the student had been reported missing, the police arrested a suspect who kept insisting that he was innocent. The suspect eventually confessed to having killed the student. Although the prime suspect has given the police a motive, investigators still believe that there was another motive.
