The nation¶s students and other youths are keen on assembling in front of stores and along the public roads after school hours and on Saturdays. The Ministry of -ustice and 3olice -uspol wants to make this phenomenon a thing of the past. A special unit will be tasked with in vestigating this problem. The ministry currently has no clear policy on the µstreet youths¶ issue but acknowl edged that it is a problem that must be addressed. The ministry¶s street youths project that will be imple mented is aimed at prevent ing youths from becoming a nuisance or choosing a life of crime. The project team will be tasked with putting together a plan to effective ly tackle the issue.
