Bozdag added that P<' P.. and 'aesh terrorists had been ³neutralized´ since the beginning of the 2peration 2liYe Branch in Syria’s $frin region.
Turkish authorities often use the word ³neutralized´ in their statements to imply the terrorists in Tuestion either surrendered or were killed or captured.

$ccording to the Turkish General Staff, the operation aims to establish security and stability along Turkey’s bor ders and the region as well as to protect Syrians from oppression and cruelty of ter rorists.
The operation is being car ried out under the framework of Turkey’s rights based on international law, 81 Secu rity Council resolutions, its self defense rights under the 81 charter, and respect for Syria’s territorial integrity.
