M3 &handrikapersad San tokhi who is also the chair man of the 9+3 made it clear that his party is not afraid of flying solo during the elections of . %ut he is puzzled by the fact that not much was done with the proposals of the 9+3 which made a huge contributions to the talks with the presi dential committee aimed at changing the electoral sys tem prior to the elections. “Immediately after the elec tions of there were talks between the president and us so between the gov ernment and the 9+3 and during those talks we told the president that we would like to have the electoral system changed. “7he presi dent gave his word that he would change the electoral system and we recently re minded him of his promise.
