Fake cops arrested

-

Police officers from the Munder Police Department on Saturday arrested 30yearold Vinod S, 46yearold Rinaldo N and 29yearold Roche M on violent theft charges. Vinod was dressed in a blue police uniform at the time of his arrest. The blue police uniform has been confiscated. Vinod who reportedly pretended to be a policeman claimed that Roche M had given him the uniform.

Roche M, however, denied Vinod’s claim and insisted that he is innocent of all the charges against him. The three men allegedly agreed to commit robberies together.

Vinod S would instruct drivers to pull over so that he and his accomplices could rob all of the people sitting in the cars.

Vinod S and his accomplices on Saturday were driving on the RingwegZuid when he tried to cut off another driver who happens to be a real policeman. He yelled that he was a policeman and he also cussed at the other driver who realized that he had come across an imposter. The real policeman did not pull over but kept on driving while notifying his colleagues. The imposters did not go after the real policeman. Shortly afterwards a police unit managed to track down and cut off the suspects’ car on Washingtonstraat. Rinaldo N was reportedly in possession of drugs. The police did not find any weapons in the car and therefore suspect that the suspects threw the weapons out of the car.

The car which reportedly belongs to Vinod’s girlfriend was seized by the police. All three suspects have been arrested on several occassions and have a criminal record.
