VP calls Boussaid “a wannabe politician”

-

VP Ashwin Adhin recently pointed out that “it is understandable that political opponents would want to make things hard for the ruling government in the moths prior to the general elections.” The VP made it clear, however, that the critics must base their criticism on actual facts and not on emotional rage. Adhin pointed out that baseless accusations are made in the media by political opponents. “Things really start to get dangerous when these critics deliberately feed the nation with information about stationary national production, corruption and mismanagement. Keep in mind that criticism must be aimed at helping the entire government team to better implement the policy so I do not object to criticism. But this form of criticism does not enrich the people with knowledge and does not help with any debate about politics or development. It is constantly the same song about deception regarding the bad loan behavior, debts, mismanagement etc that is being sung. The only difference is that the same song is sung by a new karaoke singer,” said the VP who labeled former banker Jim Bousaid, as “a wannabe politician who is evidently applying for a political job.” The VP explained that while he is trying to inform the people about the national potential of and the making of an inventory of the natural resources, Bousaid is calling him dumb at various talk shows. “The economist Bousaid has not presented any facts to hold an adult discussion about the nation’s future,” said VP Adhin who added that the minimum estimated value of about $200 billion for the untouched gold, crude oil and natural resources is not made up but the result of a survey that was carried out by the Geological Mining Department (GMD). “I would once again like to make clear that my statements must not be called dumb. As long as he does not present any acceptable arguments, he does not do much good for any political or development debate. He is in fact indirectly denigrating the motivated researchers at the GMD,” said the VP who added that Boussaid has failed to present a report to back up his claims with scientific data or facts.
