Suspect tests positive for COVID-19

A young man who was arrested on an assault charge has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. The suspect was therefore released from police custody and put in state quarantine. Another young man who had also been arrested with was also put in state quarantine. The suspects had allegedly assaulted their uncle with a wooden bat after he had insulted them. They claimed that he regularly insulted them. The victim required medical treatment after the assault. The police arrived on the scene and arrested both suspects. One of the suspect started showing symptoms of COVID-19 and was therefore tested. As a precaution the second suspect has also been put in state quarantine.
